Who are we?

Our website address is: https://www.dirtyranch.dk.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it?

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

The Events Calendar

Event, Venue, and Organizer Information

If you create, submit, import, save, or publish Event, Venue, or Organizer information, such information is retained in the local database:

  1. Venue information: name, address, city, country, state, postal code, phone, website, geographical coordinates (latitude and longitude)
  2. Organizer information: name, phone, website, email
  3. Event information: website, cost, description, date, time, image
Importing Events, Venues, and Organizers:
  1. All data present within a CSV or ICS file and external URLs (for events, venues, organizers, and tickets)
  2. Import origin data (URL from where events are being imported—such as Eventbrite, Meetup, or other compatible URL sources, which can include similar data as listed above)
  3. Eventbrite Ticket information: name, description, cost, type, quantity

To create new events via the Community Events submission form, users must have a website account. Anonymous submissions are possible if enabled by the site owner.

When purchasing Eventbrite Tickets, attendee, purchaser, and order information are stored and managed by Eventbrite.

API Keys

We use API keys for specific features, which may include services like Google Maps, Meetup, PayPal, and Eventbrite.

Wordfence

To help you understand which cookies the Wordfence plugin sets, we have provided the guide below. Wordfence currently sets three cookies, explained below:

wfwaf-authcookie-(hash)

Purpose: This cookie is used by the Wordfence firewall to check user capabilities before WordPress is loaded.

Who gets it: Only users who can log into WordPress.

Why it helps: It enables the firewall to allow more access for logged-in users and restrict non-logged-in users as necessary.

wf_loginalerted_(hash)

Purpose: This cookie notifies the Wordfence admin when an administrator logs in from a new device or location.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies for convenience. These cookies last for one year.

If you log in, temporary cookies check if your browser accepts cookies. These cookies contain no personal data and are deleted when you close your browser.

Login cookies save login details and screen preferences. They last two days, or two weeks with “Remember Me.” Editing or publishing sets a temporary cookie lasting one day.

Where we send your data?

Visitor comments may be checked via an automated spam detection service.
